PUBLICIST, MEDIA LIAISON, FREELANCE WRITER, CURATOR, NEWSLETTER EDITOR, CONTENT MARKETING SPECIALIST, COPYWRITER FOR NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.
Through my affiliation with organizations such as Historic Georgetown Inc. (HGI) I have been able to combine a passion for history, which includes research and writing, with a marketing background to create and implement successful marketing campaigns that garner tangible results.
Silver Queen Preservation News
Was responsible for soliciting materials to be published in quarterly digital newsletter distributed to membership of historical preservation non-profit organization, determining the features, researching and writing articles related to the Georgetown-Silver Plume National Historic Landmark District, setting and enforcing deadlines, making a final determination about what will be published in an issue, coordinating frequency of publication, and overseeing all operations of the publication.
Curated, Installed and Marketed Exhibit
One exhibit I curated, Diversity in the Time of Silver, explored the diverse composition of pioneers who moved to Georgetown, Colorado during the silver mining boom of the nineteenth century. Researched topic thoroughly, created content and designed supporting media including signs, brochures and banners, marketed exhibit to media outlets and public.
